The first step in the bespoke jewellery design process is a consultation with either Jo or Bethy, both highly trained and experienced jewellery designers. They’ll get to know you and the kind of design you’d like to create. You can also set a budget and a timeline. This appointment can be at our stunning boutique in Altrincham, South Manchester, or we can work remotely via phone or video calls to suit your needs. Many customers like to bring along inspiration, either images or a moodboard to help the design process. It’s also fine to come along with no clue where to start, as Jo and Bethy have lots of bespoke jewellery design ideas to inspire you. If you have a piece of jewellery that’s a much-loved family heirloom, but it doesn’t feel very fashionable to wear, there are so many fantastic design ideas to bring it back to life. Once we have a clear idea of your requirements, we’ll build on your design and present you with different computer images to show you how your hand-crafted custom jewellery piece will look. If we’re designing a piece of bespoke jewellery that includes a precious stone, whether it’s a diamond or gemstone, we’ll source a selection of stones for you to choose from – each will be ever-so slightly different, but all will be of the highest quality.

Your bespoke jewellery design is given to our in-house workshop, and our talented goldsmiths begin the process of meticulously crafting your one-of-a-kind piece of jewellery. Our in-house goldsmith will set the stones and create your finalised piece. Depending on your design, this can take several hours, as they handcraft intricate elements to create a beautiful, 100% unique piece of bespoke handmade jewellery, just for you. Bethy, our store manager, is a fantastic jewellery designer, and loves this process. “Our goldsmith is probably the best in the business. The attention to detail and craftsmanship is second to none.
