Welded Bracelets FAQs

Everything you need to know about welded bracelets...

Permanent bracelets are a piece of jewellery that you can’t take off. They’re welded around your wrist – or sometimes your ankle – instead of having a clasp.

There is no age restriction for having a welded bracelet – customers just need to be old enough to sit still during the appointment!

Welded bracelets are like all jewellery – the better you look after it, the longer it will last.

If you happen to be passing and would like a welded bracelet, it’s always worth popping in to see if we can fit you in. Otherwise, it’s
worth calling ahead to make an appointment.

Our permanent welded bracelets don’t set off alarms, as they’re made from gold, white gold, silver or platinum and these metals aren’t magnetic. This means you’ll be fine going through airport security.

No, not at all. The heat from our bracelet welding machine will only touch the metal, not your skin, so it’s completely pain-free.

Although they’re called ‘permanent’ bracelets, welded bracelets can be removed if you need to. For example, if you’re having an MRI scan, doctors request that all jewellery is removed. If this is the case, we’ll remove and reattach your welded bracelet free of charge.

Welded bracelets make perfect gifts for a loved one, and you can buy a voucher towards the cost. Couples and friends often gift welded bracelets to each other for a wonderfully meaningful present.

Our chains are robust, and we have not had any returned to us broken. But like all jewellery, chains can sometimes get caught on things and, with enough force, snap. If this were to happen, please bring your welded bracelet in store and we can repair or replace it.
