That’s why we’re seriously excited to introduce a designer who we believe is bringing something fresh and different to the world of jewellery to our fabulous Altrincham store: Tilly Sveaas.
Spotlight on Tilly Sveaas
Tilly Sveaas is a London-based jewellery designer who has been creating jewellery for 20 years. She’s built a great reputation for modern classic jewellery, and has a huge following. Tilly launched her brand in 2016, and is someone we’ve been closely watching for some time.
There’s a real buzz around Tilly Sveaas having been featured on the pages of Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Elle and Marie Claire, as well as Forbes, The Times and The NY Times. In summer 2024, her brand hit new heights when her pieces were worn by A-list celebrities including Taylor Swift, Kylie Jenner, Florence Pugh, Nicola Coughlan and Davina McCall. And what’s most interesting is that the Tilly Sveaas pieces all the high-profile celebs are wearing are not super expensive – in fact, they’re super affordable.

The most iconic Tilly Sveaas piece is the signature T-Bar necklace. The fashion for T-Bar necklaces is still going strong and is the centrepiece to Tilly’s collection. These necklaces are extremely versatile, with lots of wearable options. Taylor Swift herself was recently pictured wearing the Gold T-Bar Curb Link Necklace, which we sell in our Greater Manchester store for £295.
Kylie Jenner has also been spotted wearing stacked bangles from the Tilly Sveaas range, with both of the bracelets she was seen in available in store for between £240 and £295.

Tilly’s collection is described as jewellery inspired by the past, created for the now, to be worn forever. Her ethos is that each piece meets 3 definitive criteria: quality, design purity and timelessness.
Tilly Sveaas says that she creates jewellery for the purpose of longevity, rather than seasonality, and all her jewellery is ethically sourced.
“My jewellery is built upon honest social responsibility, since its humble beginnings in Bali back in 1997, and I still use my first ever supplier.”
Produced in the UK, Italy, Thailand and Bali, Tilly Sveaas is a licensed Fairmined brand, using Fairmined gold and silver to plate all handmade linked pieces, as well as earrings and bangles. The brand assures that these metals come from small-scale mining organisations that embrace responsible business, social, and environmental practices. In addition, all of Tilly Sveaas’ fine chains are made using recycled sterling silver, by an Italian company that is a certified member of the Responsible Jewellery Council.
