Why Bethy deserves to win
When we opened Hill & Hill The Jewellers in 2019, Bethy was insistent that we establish ourselves as leaders in piercing, recognising the huge trend in high-end piercing and what’s known as the ‘curated ear’.
We agreed that for too long, piercing had been too closely linked to tattoo parlours, and the trend for high-end fine piercing jewellery meant it was time to bring piercing into a more luxurious environment. So, Bethy convinced us (Alex and Jo Hill, the owners of Hill & Hill) to completely refurbish our first floor into what is now a stunning piercing boutique.
Bethy and other members of our team of jewellers undertook a rigorous training programme to become needle piercers. Bethy then used her years of experience and top contacts to negotiate with some of the UK’s leading designers of fine piercing jewellery, so we could offer the very best selection to our customers.

The fashion for multiple piercings in each ear has really grown, and is now known as a ‘curated ear’. Knowing how to curate your ear piercings is not easy and takes highly experienced jewellery stylists to get it right. That’s where Bethy and our team at Hill & Hill The Jewellers come in.
Bethy’s aim was to offer a personalised stylist service with loads of curated ear ideas and with individual help on how to curate ear piercings in the most stunning way. Our curated ear and piercing service is something we’re incredibly proud of, and the team have gained dozens of highly deserved 5 star reviews.
What is a curated ear?
The enduring fashion for more than one piercing means that care has to be taken not to overcrowd the ear. Bethy and our team will show you how to position each curated piercing and what sort of piercing might fit best. Over time, you’ll build up a collection of fine jewellery that will really look fantastic.
Ear curation takes time, and is an ever-evolving process. Our range of fine piercing jewellery means swapping and changing styles is easy and great fun. Bethy and our team will help you look fabulous.

Our curated ear piercing prices
We have a simple pricing model, as we only charge for the jewellery. Prices start from around £70 per earring or stud that we pierce with. The piercing, the aftercare, and swapping and curation of your jewellery is all done for free, and is part of our personal jewellery service.
